The school bus hasn't run since February 1, as tho Bly school is closed on account of mumps. Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Wing brought Mrs. Mildred Cooper out from Klamath Falls a week ago Sunday. Mrs. Cooper is Mrs. Wing's daughter, and she Is now convalescing from an operation which she underwent at the Hill side hospital. Al Cooper arrived at tho Wing home Tuesday. He remained un til Saturday morning when he left for his home at Trail. Mrs. Cooper and Jo Anne arc remain ing a few more weeks with Jvlrs. Wing. ., 7 Mr. and Mrs. Ben Houdek re turned Sunday from the cast. . Kent Mrs., Frank Skala left Klam ath Falls Tuesday morning by way of Reno,! Nevada for her home In Ely, Minnesota, after a visit with ner brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Dorman of Weyerhaeuser Camp 4. Mrs. Skala flew by plane from Chi cago to Mexico to see her son, Lt. Charles Trcgerla who is leav ing Los Angeles. While in Ore gon Mrs. Skala also visited her mother at Mr. Dormnn's ranch at Roguo River. Mr. Snowgoo.se is reported as almost completely recovered from his siege of Influenza and cold which attacked him lust fall and which has kept him at home most of the winter. He was able to spend Christmas Day at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Andrew Banuclos, and during the warm, sunshiny days we had recently, he was able to get out side and help some with the out door work. Friends will be glad to know of Snowgoose's Improve ment. Charles Wall was called to Fort Worth, Texas early this I month because of the illness of his sister. He is expected home soon, a member of his family re ports. The Ray Hinshaw family has moved to the Turner place on the Klamath Falls-Keno high way. . Mr. McKcen is reported as im proving , under treatment being given 1 1 I'm at the hospital. His brothers, Fred and Walter, have returned to their homes in south ern California. Guy L. Moore returned home the last of the week' from a visit to his son's home at Vancouver, Washington. He reported seeing other relatives and friends, a number of them from his .old home town and state, North Dakota.
