and women Identified as promi
nent In activities of the CIO po
litical action committee and for
merly government officials.
The list was prepared by Rob
ert E. Stripling, chief commit
tee Investigator, from data ob
tained by the committee during
its investigation of the PAC.
Most of the fifteen, Stripling
said, resigned their government
jobs only recently.

Fire fighters confined to 800
acres a blaze in the area 60
miles north of Winthrop and
six miles south of the Canadian
border this week.
The crew of 90 men and all
equipment was flown to the air
field, only a short distance from
the fire.
