FORCE, July 27 (P) An allied
commentator said today that Ger
man talk of using 10-ton explo
sive rockets against England, in
the manner of the. robot bombs,
may not be sheer propaganda
talk.
He pointed to attacks by RAF
i-,ancasters on possible V-2 (rock
et) sites witn 12,000 pound
"quake-makers."
A new rocket is reported from
certain unauthenticated sources
inside France to weigh about 00
tons at launching. Its size is
said to diminish as fuel is ex
pended in flight through the
stratosphere and the 10-ton war-
neaa is designed as the part of
this monster weapon to reach its
destination.
The commentator said V-2
might be highly inaccurate or
might fizzle out in flight, but
mat mere snouid be no wishful
thinking.
