the greyhound racing tracks
and other outdoor sporting
events drew large crowds over
the weekend. At White City

Theatres Close
London's legitimate theatres,
however, felt effects of the ro

The government, meanwhile,
opened the first of eight deep i

8000 persons each. The shelters,
100 feet underground, have
large canteens serving hot
drinks and sandwiches, radios,
hot and cold running water and
large playgrounds for children.

Due to the vast amount of
paper collected and short time
in which it was collected, it is
possible that a few bundles
of paper were missed. Anybody
who has paper that wasn't col

the curb in front of the Safe
way store at Twelfth and Main
either Monday or Tuesday.
Marvin Hixon, publicity di
