Malin PROBLf IHE Lack of lumber mill and camp help In still Klamuth's biggest employment problom, Jack Al Meter of the U. S. employment service said this week. Lumber handlers such as workers on the green chain and pliers, are espe cially scarca. A plan is now underway to se cure help from mid-western states where lumber workers are plentiful, A I motor said. Common laborers aro yet need ed on the Marine Barracks and Klamath Naval air station con struction, though there is no shortago of skilled labor on these Jobs. Klamath rails has no shortase of white collar workers, accord ing to Almetcr, as any vacancies in offices oi stores, etc., are pret ty well filled by wives of service men stationed here. Davis Sentenced To Six Months Harold Lloyd Davis was eiven six months in the county jail this week in justice court after he had pleaded guilty to unlawfully en tering a motor vehicle about two months ago.
