Women Gather
LA NT, ELL VALLEY The Lansell Valley Women's club
met at the nnrlnh hnll on Juno 22 with Mrs. Charlotte Filzhugh
and Mr. Ni-ttie Devi as hnntec. The club voted to buy a
hundred dollar bond during the fifth war loan drive. They also
voted to send $10 lo tho Queen Charlotte maternity hospital in
London, England.
The club will sponior a dance on July 18 to raise funds to
repair doors and locks on tho community hall and buy light
globes and other fixtures. Mrs. Mae Gale Is chairman of the
supper committee and I assisted

night. The family, having been

to see their house in full blaze.
