Ena Wit kerson, Bernice Auger, Hazel Murray, Eleanor Clenchman and Helen snrayer. Louisa Icenbice, Dovie Reed er and Lota Stolt were appoint ed as delegates to the state con ference to be held in tugene July 14-15. Rose Van Meter reported that $29 made at the supper served for the Bona raiiy nao been used to buy a bona ana stamps for the chapter. Esther Sevey presented gifts to the officers who assisted her during her year as senior re gent. Rose Van Meter was pre sented with a gift from the chapter for her work as senior regent for the past year. Mar garet Fields and tsessie Auorey were awarded prizes for being escorts with perfect attendance oy me ruuaiisuc ciiuumuu. graduate regent's pin was pre sented to Esther Sevey 'when she completed her graduate re gent year. Installation of officers put Doris Winebarger, senior re gent; Rose Van Meter, graduate regent; Margaret Fields, junior regent; Esther Johnson, chap lain; Veronica McNeil, record er; Mary Lou Nine, treasurer; Olga Bradshaw, guide; Mayme Giacomini, pianist, and Ann Smithson, Argus,- in -the chairs for the coming year. ' Installing officers for the ceremony held in the Oddfel lows hall were Esther Sevey, installing regent; Vlasta Petrik, installing chaplain; Dovie Reed er, installing guide; Louisa Icenbice and Leta Stolt, assist ing guides. The next meeting will be held at the usual place July 11 instead of July 4. An executive meeting will be held at the home o Mrs. Reeder June 30. At the close of the meeting refreshments were served by the Loyal Order of Moose. Keno Bond Drive Successful, Report The bond drive is progress ing very successfully in Keno. The workers for this district met at the home of J. W. Kerns Monday evening, June 12, to discuss plans for the drive. Joe H. Foster is in charge of the drive in Keno and a portion of the Worden road. Mrs. Walter S. Foster has vol unteered to make the house to house canvass and has met with very good success so far. Any one from Keno wishing to buy bonds for the credit of Keno may contact either Mrs. Walter S. Foster or Joe H. Foster at the postoffice.- Lee - Holliday - is chairman for the district, with J. Charles de Gaulle of the French com mittee of. national liberation have asked if it will be agree able for the French leader to visit Washington some time be tween July 5 and July 9.- The president said such dates would be perfectly all right. Originally Mr. Roosevelt sent word to General de Gaulle sug gesting two dates for a visit to this country, either late in June or between July 6 and 14.
