The deceased was a native of Thayer county, Neb., und was aged 71 years, 4 months and 9 days when called. She is survived by a daughter, Mildred Young of Klamath Falls; three sons, John of Stock ton, Calif., Lewis of Bly, Ore., and Orrio of Klamath Falls; also seven grandchildren. The funeral service will take place from the chapel of Wards Klamath Funeral home 925 High street on Tuesday after noon at 2 o'clock with the Rov. Eugene V. Haynes officiating. Fir Department' Answers Five Calls , During Friday There was little rest for the city fire department Friday as the trucks responded to five calls during the day. Short in the wiring of an elec tric stove at the residence of Mrs. Anna Vr.n.l. Aid lUnpfU Mln,U street, caused the first call at 7:54 a. m. There was little dam age. The house is owned by Os car Shive. At 11:47 a. m. a re port came in on a grass fire at 2400 Applegate street. Sparks from a chimney caused a roof fire at the J. Dawson house, 1637 Division street, but little dam age was reported by the crew which answered a call at 12:51 p. m.
