Hs had been employed by the Quality Market alnro 1032, and in 1041, Owlth C. R. Elchmsnn, purcluised the buslnesa. Groasen remained a partner during the time he was In tho scrvlco. Last word was received from him In a let ter dated one day before his death. He was born In Prfndle, Wash., September 27, 1010, and was 32 years of age at the time of his death. Mrs. Gros sen is employed here at Craig's. They wero married November 9, 1937; in thla city. Wor Prisoners In Russia Form Union MOSCOW. Sept. 21 m "Union of German Officers" was formed here September 12 by more than 100 generals and other officer from five Russian prisoner-of-war camps, it was announced today, with the aim of bringing about the downfall of the Hitler regime and the es tablishment of a "free, peaceful and Independent Germany." ORGANIZATION CO NTH- CLUBS BEGIN Work In organizing 4 H clubs In the county schools will begin Wednesday, Clifford Jenkins, county club' leader, announced today. Maryoliva Snarr, assis tant state leader of clubwork from Oregon State college, will be in Klamath county for sev- eral days working with Jenkins to organize the clubs. Home economics protects In the various schools will be dis cussed In meetings with pupils On Wednesday the leaders will have meetings at Bonanza ele mentary school at 9:30; at Bo nanza high school at 10:13; at Spragua River, 1 p. m.; and Bly, 2:30. On Thursday a meeting will be held at Henley elementary school, 9:30; Henley high school 10:30; Altamont Junior high. fifth and sixth grades, 2:30; and the seventh and eighth grades at 3:19. Friday meetings will begin at 10 at the Merrill elementary school. Another meeting will be held at the high school at 11 Malin elementary school will have a meeting at 1:30 and the Malin high school at 3:19. On Monday the leaders will meet with the Chiloquin ele mentary school at 9 a. m and with the high school at 9:49 a. m. Fairhaven meetings will begin at 11:30 a. m., and a meeting Is scheduled for Keno at 1:49 p. m. Weyerhaeuser camp four school will have meeting at 3:19 p. m. Etler, for the past 20 years prominent In civic and club affairs In Klamath Falls, will leave November 1 for Spokane where he will go Into business. Eller, familiarly known as "Hod," has taken over the Spo kane territory a general agent for the Pacific Mutual Life In surance company with offices in the Old National Bank building, he announced Tuesday. Eller came to Klamath Falls from Eugene in August, 1923, and entered the Insurance busi ness here. He has served as pres ident of the Klamath Falls Ro tary club, president of the Shrine club, is past-potentate of Hlllah temple, and at the present time holds office in the Scottish Rite as commander of the Kadosh. El ler will leave for Los Angeles early next month to attend a seminar at the home ouice from October 7 to 30. Mrs. Eller and son George, will leave with Eller. Walkout In Dodge Plant Halts Army Truck Shipment DETROIT, Sept. 21 lP) A Chrysler corporation spokesman reported today a walkout by 927 employes of the Dodge truck ex port shipping department, fol lowing wage dispute, halted all shipments of Dodge army trucks. Officials of the United Auto mobile Workers (CIO) agreed with the company statement that the workers left their jobs after failing to obtain a wage increase. To maintain health, about 2000 cubic feet of air Is required ev ery hour.
