They may wire the Prisoners of War Information bureau. Pro vost Marshall General at Wash ington D. C, giving the name of the next of kin and the full name and address of the prisoner. The provost marshall will ls-1 sue a label to the New York Red Cross and a box will be sent to the prisoner. The contents will be different than the regular food parcel so that it will be more personal, but the exact ar ticles provided have not been announced. RQOEQ SPRINGS FOREST FIRE GAMP CLOSED Since the majority of the boys who have been working at the Rodeo Springs fire camp have gone back to school, this fire camp has been closed, Klamath Forest Protective association of ficials said today. The camp at Penny Springs on the Greensprings highway will be kept up for a while with limited personnel, since many of these boys have also returned to school. In all, there will be three boys at the camp, Robert Benson, Malcolm Epley Jr., and Walter Knapp, along with the forester in charge. In addition, there will be the regular lookouts who will stay at their posts until the end of the fire season, depending, on the weather. The dry weather of the present time is especially dangerous for fires, and the pub lic was urged to use extra cau tion in preventing fires. Work this summer In the fire camps consisted of repair and maintenance work as well as some construction work. At Rodeo Springs the boys erected 17 miles of telephone lines, repaired other lines, and did maintenance work on the roads, putting in culverts and re moving rocks. Penny Springs youths built about four miles of new road in to virgin territory on Butte mountain, where there had been no roads previously. Fires in this area were particularly dan gerous because there was no way of getting to them, so the new road was especially valuable. Next year it Is planned that the road will be continued in order to encircle Butte mountain and tying into another road. BRAKES AWAY BERKELEY, Calif.
