Sltcping Sickness Epidemic Found in Tulelake Stock TULELAKE An outbreak of sleeping sickness among horses in the Tulelake community and the south end of Klamath county is being fought by stock owners. , Reports of the death of several animals and of the serious illness of others shows a widespread prevalance of the disease which apparently is worse this summer than in several years past. British Naval Losses in Sicily Campaign Totaled LONDON, Aug. 28 W) The British admiralty announced to day that British naval losses in the Sicilian campaign were two submarines, three ; motor tor pedo boats and one motor gun boat. The submarines were the Sar acen and the Parthian. "These were the only losses of his majesty's ships during the whole of the Sicilian opera tions," the communique said. Dam Construction Considered in Idaho KALISPELL, Mont., Aug. 28 UP) The proposed construction of a dam at Albeni Falls on the Clark Fork river in North Idaho to create storage facilities for 1,500,000 acre-feet of water still is under consideration, Bonne ville Administrator Dr. Paul J.
