The columns were previously placed so close ly together that it was linpossi bio for the helpers in a train to take water without having to disconnect the helpers from the train and one at a time tako water. Lloyd Klinger and a gang of seven men have charge of this work. It is expected tho work will be completed by August 1. Martin K. The weather at Cascade Sum mit has become ideal after a light snow flurry on July 3. Many people are corning to the lake to fish and fishing has been reported exceptionally good. Several limit catches have been made. Summit lodge has been doing a capacity business and in sev eral instances have had to turn away guests. It was reported early in the spring that the din ing room would not be open but, owing to the large number of guests, the dining room is now operating.
