Lieutenant Blake Is now
stationed at Camp Haan, Cali

To Play Finals
Mrs. Charles Rugh and Mrs. Peter Albertson to
Play in First Flight on Friday Afternoon
Women golfers at Rcamcs Golf and Country club will
play the finals in the Lamm tournament, and also the finals
In the first flight, this coming Friday, it was announced at the
clubhouse at the regular gathering yesterday.
Due to the inclement weather which prevailed during the
early Friday morning hours, little golf was played, but later
the weather cleared Bnd a number were on the course.
Mm. Charles V. Rugh and Mrs. Peter A. Albertson will
ploy the finals in the first flight. Those who did not play in
the semi-finals In the Lamm tournament this week will have
until next Wednesday to do
so.

Fifty-fourth" Wedding Celebration Remembered
At Party Given by Club in Malin
MALIN Mrs. John Bailey was delightfully honored by
member of the Helping Hand society Wednesday, June six
teenth, on her fifty-fourth wedding anniversary. The all day
affair with luncheon at noon was held at the home of Mr.
Earl McVey.
Mr. and Mrs. Bailey were married at Whitesville, N. Y.,
moving Inter to Pennsylvania. Thirty-five years ago they came
to the Klamath basin, taking up a homestead north of Malin,
living in the same vicinity during their residence here.
Mrs. Bniley has been a member of the Helping Hand for

The ceremony took place at
eleven o'clock at the Metho
dist parsonage in Crete with
the Reverend G. A. Moon of
ficiating. The bride wore a dusty rose
frock with a corsage of gar
denias and lilies of the valley.
After a short honeymoon,
the couple are at home in Ar
kansas City, Kansas. Sergeant
Baumgardner is an instructor
in night flying at Strother
field in Wlnfield, Kansas.

Trainmen met in the KC hall
Thursday, June the tenth, at
eight o'clock for its regu
lar meeting. There was no in
itiation, but following the
business meeting an enter
tainment was given, with Fay
Myers the chairman. The fea
ture of the evening was a
play, "Schooldays" with
Mable Roman as an old-time,
old maid school-ma'am and

Party Planned
First of Affairs Planned for Reames Members and
Guests for Saturday Evening
The first of the summer parties planned by Reames Golf
and Country club at the clubhouse south of town is scheduled
for Saturday evening, June the twenty-sixth, it was announced
this week. The party will be an informal one, with the cock
tail hour scheduled for half past seven o'clock followed by
dinner and dancing at eight o'clock.
Chairmen of the affair are Mr. and Mrs. Martin Swanson,
and they will be assisted by Mr. and Mra. Ted Medford, Dr.
and Mrs. J. Hardin Carter and Dr. and Mrs. Charles V. Rugh.
