On Monday evening, June
the seventeenth, the Catholic
Daughters of America met in
the -parish hall for their regu
lar business meeting. It was
decided that during the
months of June, July and Aug
ust only the business meetings
would be held, on the second
Monday of each month, the
social meetings being omitted
during that time. Following
the business meeting refresh
ments were served by a com
mittee headed by Mildred
Smith and Agnes La Londe.

The Women's Missionary
Society of the First Baptist
church met in the church par
lors Thursday, June the sev
enteenth, for a light luncheon
at noon, served by the mem
bers of circle three. The busi
ness meeting followed, con

of the pastor of the Trinity
Baptist church at Vancouver
