CRUSADE HERE
A Gospel revival crusade is
scheduled to begin at the First
Baptist, church, Eighth and
Washington streets, Sunday,
June 13, the pastor stated to
day. The Rev. S. L. Tldwell, pas
tor of the Trinity Baptist
church of Vancouver, Wash.,
will conduct tho evangelistic
campaign. Prior to coming to
the Northwest three montlui
ago, evangelist Tldwell was en
gaged In evangelistic and mis
sionary work in Texas and Now
Mexico. He was prominent' in
tho South wide denominational
program in which he occupied
important positions. Recently
the Rev. Tldwell accepted a
call to the newly organized
church in Vancouvor and is di
recting in a building program
in that city. He is af (11 luted
with the Coastal Area Baptist
mission, which is a coast wide
Baptist fellowship engaged in
the evangelization of tho de
fense centers of tho West.
Mr. .Tldwell Is a graduate of
Hardin Simmons University of
Abelene, Texas. He is related
to the nationally honored Dr.
J. B. Tldwell of Baylor uni
versity. He comes to Klamath
Falls highly recommended by
outstanding leadors and by. his
own ministry.

the aid of safety films, safety
demonstrations, and speakers.
The trado and Industries pro
gram Is conipuritively now In the
local high school but total en
rollment had grown to about 60
boys when school was out. These
boys attend school one-half day
and work on a Job learning a
trado through a vocational ar
rangement or an apprenticeship
Indonture. Successful work on
their Job entitles them to addi
tional credit toward graduation.
