CHICAGO, Jan. 11 (JF) Inde
pendent strength of corn, which
advanced as much as a cent a
bushel to highs since 1937, sup
ported the entire grain market
today, checking a reaction in
wheat, which lost almost a cent
at times due to profit taking and
hedging sales.

The Phone and Cook,
Says the Officer
Officer O. A. Kennerley, 2335
Darrow street, is convinced that
you can't talk over the tele
phone and cook at the same
time. In an attempt to do this
double act, Kennerley broke one
egg and burned two pieces of
toast but he says it was worth
it.

Sheppard Field, Tex., to Fort
Logan, Colo. Kennerley said he
took one egg off the stove, drop
