BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR BLYMISS BLY Mrs. George Elliott entertained with a dinner In honor of her daughter, Jean, on the occasion of her eighth birthday anniversary Thurs day evening of last week. The little guests spent tho lime pitying games and enjoying movie. Vlclor Phillips read tho ser vice before an altar covered with a lace cloth from Scot land, upon which rested tall white tapers and an heirloom Bible, beforo a bank of palms and chrysanthemums. Before tho ceremony Mrs. Wlnnlfrod Glllcn sang "I Love You Truly," accompanied by Mrs. David Uurgoyne upon the violin. The traditional wedding pro cessional was played by Mrs. David Uurgoyne as tho bride, upon hor father's arm. entered the room. She was lovely In a gown of soft old rose and car ried an old fashioned colonial bouiiucl. Mrs. Krnest Rrelthaupt, the bride's only attendant, wore a frock of blue with a corsage of pink rosebuds. The groom was attended by his brother, Mr. Clifford Dalton. After the ceremony the brldo and groom cut a white wedding cake. The table was lovely with a lace cloth, tall white tapers and small white chrysanthemums. The bride's mother wore a brown flow ered frock with a corsage of pink rosebuds and assisted in serving. A memorial ceremony for members of the order, who have died the past year, was held, the worthy matron giv ing a brief history of each of the following: Mabel Scttlemeler, worthy grand matron of Oregon in 1918-19; Maisie Morande who Joined tho chapter October 17, 1929, acted as worthy ma tron and was secretary of the chapter at the time of her death; Jessie Stoddard who became a member April 10, 1S35.
