UUn m .h. your duty above all things Walter W. Whitbeck United States Senator , Walter W. Whitbecks' platform: War "I pro pose that every effort be made to bring about a full prosecution of the war in order to carry-out our Pres ident's war program. I am asking all patriotic citizens to take into consideration the obstructionist and iso lationist record of the sen atorial delegation from Oregon. The congressional voting record, as reported in "The New Republic" May' 18, 1942, and . the Christian Science Monitor, May 28, 1942 proves con clusively that Oregon's del egation has been a retard ing - factor in -: the proper preparation for this war, and if the Senators from the other states had voted as did the Oregon delega tion, our allies would have been knocked out and the United States would now be fighting a defensive war." Reconstruction- ' "The reconstruction pro gram will require Federal aid in subsidizing industry and replenishing unemploy ment compensation funds during the period of the change from wartime' to peacetime production. So cial security , and old age pensions should be made available to all citizens and all social gains preserved. I propose to amend . the So-, cial Security Act to include public employees, profes sional and business people, farmers and domestics. The act should include all old age pensioners at a min imum of $40.00 per month under government ' supervision. nrn - - Msiwmy Wwh !ir Your OREGON'S DEMOCRATIC REPRE SENTATIVE SOLVES KLAMATH'S MOST PRESSING PROBLEMS Congressman Walter M.
