M., of ponderosa and sugar pines, of which about 103,000 feet of ponderosa pine stands on about 45 timbered acres of allotted lands, for which separata approved contracts must afterward be made with al lottees desiring to sell, and on terms similar to the contract tor the unallotted timber. Each bid must state the price per thous and feet BM., Scribner Decimal C Log Scale, that will be paid for timber cut and scaled prior to March 31, 1843. Prices subse quent to that date are to be fixed by the Secretary of the Interior. No bid will be considered for less than $4,75 per thousand feet B.M. for ponderosa and sugar pines, $1.50 for Douglas fir and incense cedar, and $0.75 for other species. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check in the amount of $22,000 on a solvent National Bank, pay able to the Special Disbursing Agent, Klamath Indian Agency, Oregon. The deposit will be re turned to unsuccessful bidders.
