Drews and Thompson Valley reservoirs fair for roinhnw with b!t; Oregon's Riflemen In Meet Smoll-Bore Gunners Vie In Eugene Over Weekend EUGENE, Aug. 14 W The annual small-bore rifle cham pionships of the Oregon State Rifle and Pistol association will be staged here at Richards' range Saturday and Sunday, with the Lane county Rifle and Pistol club host to the event, sanctioned by the National Rifle and Pistol association of Amer ica. The two-day tournament, in cluding 14 events, will be fea tured by six matches for per petual trophies and the selec tion of a ten-man team to com pete against a similar contin gent selected by the' miniature rifle clubs of England. The annual meeting of the state association will be held here Saturday night. Outstanding gunners expect ed to compete include Mr. and Mrs. Ivan K. Waddell of Med ford, Ernest Barrien of Milwau kie, and Gairic M. Upshaw of Eugene, recent winner of the state .30-caIibre championship.
