Hostesses were Mrs. Joseph Reading and Mrs. C. B. Morrison. The large room was attrac tive with pink roses, many lovely garden flowers and sweet peas. High score In brldgo went to Mrs. C. C. Colvin, second to Mrs. Harry D. Uolvln, low to Mrs. O. C. Lorenz, and traveling award in Mrs, Don Newsom. Punch was served by tha hostesses assisted by Mrs. Mnrjorlo Klncald. Holte of Tioncsta, California, an nounce the marriage of their son, Hugh, and Grace Isabel Rawson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. P. Rawson of Van c o u v e r, Washington. The young couple wero married in a quiet ceremony read at the parsonage of Reverend Paul Kunzman of Vancouver, Washington. Mrs. Holte attended Van couver high school and was graduated as salutatorian of her class In 1911., She plans to continue her studies at Willamotto university where she has been a student for the past year. Mr. Holte was graduated from Klamath Union high school with the class of 1938 and recently re turned to Tioncsta from Los Angeles where ho completed his course In electricity at the National schools. He Is now with Show Lumber com pany. THETA RHO GIRLS HONOR NEW ADVISORS Following the regular busi ness meeting on Monday eve ning, members of Thota Thcta Rho Girls club honored their new advisors, Mrs. George Blanas and Mrs. Herbert Munsell, at a party. Refreshments for the occa sion included a caka decor ated with a blue bird and names of the advisors, which was served under the direc tion of Clara Redkey, Betty Burpee and Margaret Blair. All Theta Rho girls are In vited to meet at the home of Mrs. Munsoll, 211 Lincoln street, on Friday evening. August the seventh, at half past seven o'clock for a work parly. B, Redmond enter tained her boys' class of the First Methodist Sunday school with a lawn party at her home on Front street one eve ning this past week. The guests enjoyed a wiener roast and later a boat ride. Wesley Lorenz, upper deck seaman, United States navy, will leave Monday to report for duty at San Diego after spending a ten-day furlough here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. C. At a quarter to one o'clock there will be a luncheon given by the chapter for Mrs. Horsfall, the affair slated for the Pell- Program Slated Parties Planned for Wives of Realtors in Session Here A number of delightful af fairs for women folk who will accompany their hus bands here on August the sixth, seventh and eighth for the annual convention of the Oregon Association of Real Estate Boards, have been planned by those outlining a program which will show the visitors as much of the Klam ath country and its hospital ity aa is possible during their brief stay. On Thursday afternoon visi tors will enjoy a motor boat trip on Upper Klamath lake, this made possible through the cooperation of prlvat craft owners and the Cali fornia Oregon Power com pany. The pine paneled room of the Elks lodge will be the scene of a tea to be given by wives of local realtors for the visitors.
