Police Judge Leigh Ackerman In
a hearing Wednesday afternoon,
growing out of a fight Tuesday
night involving the two young
men and Herman Todd, In an at
tack on Lawrence "Bud" Rolph
at Eighth and High streets.
Todd, pleading Innocent, was
acquitted, but Walker, also
pleading innocence, was found
guilty along with House who had
admitted his part in the affair
from the start. The jail sen
tence was suspended on promise
of good behaviour, after the
judge hud given the three a
good verbal "dressing down."
The three men had jumped
from a car after ncurlng running
Rolph down as they turned from
Eighth onto Pine street, It was
reported. Rolph yelled at them,
they followed him and tho fight
ensued.
