URSQmS TO START E Roosevelt Urges Moral Fitness WASHINGTON, June 17 P) President Roosevelt called on the nation today to engage in a concerted drive for "total phy sical and moral fitness," with particular emphasis on elimin ation of "redlight" districts in war industry areas. In a letter to Paul V. McNutt, director of the office of defen health: and welfare, the presi dent declared that such districts contributed a major part of the venereal disease infection found in army camps and naval sta tions. , Halfway around the world the lives of men in America's citizen army depend upon the efficiency of production at home.
