RED CROSS N,wi No,M
It was announced from the
Klamath chapter of the Amer
ican Red Cross today that there
will be a meeting for all women
interested in the Canteen corps.
I he meeting will be held on
Wednesday, January 21, 1942, at
7:30 p. m. at Red Cross head
quarters in the Armory building,
112 North Spring.
The American Bed Cross sew
ing rooms both in the armory
and in the Singer Sewing Ma
chine company are probably the
two busiest places In Klamath
Falls at the present time. Knit
ting and sewing is being taken
out and returned completed al
most as soon as the shipments of
materials can be received.
Because the sewing program
&RDCBTTEEHA
has taken on a new aspect since
the outbreak of war it Is essen
tial that all of the garments pro
duced under the 1941 quota be
returned and prepared for ship
ment immediately. It is strongly
urged that every volunteer work
er who took out either sewing
or knitting prior to December 15
return it as quickly as possible.
The annual Red Cross meeting
will be held January 26 and we
will be very proud of the report
oi tne production service which
will be made at that meeting.
We will appreciate the cooper
ation of all volunteers in helping
us make this a complete and up-to-date
report
