E. Donnls, president ot the club, members of Aloha Past Matron club motored to Al turas, California, Tuesday ovoning, to demonstrate tho rituullstla work of tho Order of the Eastern Slur as it was outlined In tho rltuuls of 1868. The occasion was the dis trict meeting of Eastern Star diopters ot thut section, called to honor the worthy grand matron, of California on her official visit. Chapters in the district are Tulelake, Adln, Mill River Falls and Alturas. Tulelake chapter was asked to furnish a special program for the evening, and Invited tho Post Matron club of Klam ath Falls to provide this feature. The Klamath Falls past matrons were special guests at the dinner, served at six o'clock in the high school cafeteria, to more than 125 members of the order. The Klamath Falls members were lavish In their praiso of tha hospitality and friondly good will of the California mem bers of the order. The bride, given in mar riage by her father, wore a frock of dusty rose with match ing capo and blue accessories. Her sister, Miss Helen Durant, who acted as bridesmaid, wore a rcdingote dress of powder blue with beige accessories. Both wore corsages of roses, gardenias and sweet peas. Mrs. Wood of Sas katchewan, Canada, who is visfting her sister, Mrs. Grace Revel 1, was presented with a gift, and a shower was held for the parish kitchen. It was voted by the guild to send a pair of embroidered pillow cases to Mrs. William Reming ton who has been ill for the past several months. Mrs. Zlch served four o'clock tea to Mrs. Grace Re vel), Mrs. Wood, Mrs. Nonie Pepplc, Mrs. Alice Pcatross, Mrs. Bessie. ' Miss Ruth Walker became the bride of Mr. Glen Mc Gregor at a ceremony per formed at the Sacred Heart church in Klamath Falls on Saturday evening by Rev. O'Connor. Miss Jean Abra ham and Mr. Glen Walker, brother of the bride, were the only attendants. . On Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Clay Walker, parents of the bride, entertained at dinner in honor of the young couple when guests included Mr. and Mrs. Glen McGregor, Mr. and Mrs. John Abraham, Miss Jean Abraham, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gentry and Sandra Lee of Klamath Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Hankins and John of Swan Lake, Father O'Connor, Anna Walker, Ern est Walker, Gladys Walker, and Glen Walker. Muskopf of Pelican City on Sunday when children ol the couple gathered to cele brate Father's day and the thirty-fifth wedding anniver- sary of their parents which occurred on June the seven teenth. Dinner was served to Earl Muskopf and son, Dale, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Nilsen and son, Normal Earl of Portland, Mrs. Estcllee Watson and sons, Perry and Jerry, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Freese and sons, Dickie and Leland, and R. F. Muskopf Jr. Mr. and Mrs. Mil Muskopf of Mokelumne Hill, California, were unable to be present. Mr. Muskopf is mill superintendent of the Pelican , Bay Lumber company and has resided in Pelican City for the post seventeen years with members of his family. Ashland Maid Weds n Church Ceremony Helen Beth Home Becomes Mrs. Don Haven Evans in Service Read June the Fifteenth' The First Methodist church of Ashland was the scene of beautiful ceremony when Miss Helen Beth Home, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Earl Home of Ashland, and Mr. Don Haven Evans, Klamath Falls, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. tvans of Chlloquln, were married at four o'clock Sunday afternoon, June the fifteenth. Dr. George W. Bruce read the service in the presence of relatives and friends. The bride was given In marriage by her father. The church was a lovely set ting for the ceremony. Above a bank of white flowers and greenery, seven candles were arranged as a pyramid, and at either side were ribbon fes tooned candles connected by a broad satin ribbon. Seasonal flowera in pastel shades and white were used in additional decorations. Mrs. Frank Davis presided at the console. Miss Lolita Pierson was soloist - Preced- ' ing the entrance of the bridal party, "O, Promise Me," De Koven, and "Evensong," East hope Martin, were played, and Miss Pierson sang, "At Dawn ing." The Lohengrin wedding music was used as the proces sional, and Mendelssohn's wed ding march as recessional. Miss Pierson also sang "Be cause," and "To a Wild Rose," was played softly during the ceremony. Miss Flora Stokoe was maid of honor and Mr. Henry Ev ans, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Mr. John Mur phy was usher. The bride was lovely in an aqua blue redingote with white accessories, and corsage of gardenias, and Cecil Brun ncr roses. The maid of hon or wore a beige dress, with navy blue and beige acces sories. Her corsage was of roses and sweet peas. The bride's mother was in a 'dusty rose afternoon dress, . navy blue accessories, and corsage of roses and sweet peas. The bridegroom's mother wore navy blue chiffon redingote with white accessories and roses and sweet peas used in her corsage. The - bride' grandmother, Mr. Abbie Har ris, was in navy blue and white redingote with black ac cessories and corsage of sweet peas and roses The reception was held at the home of the bride, 492 Al lison street. The three tiered silver white wedding cake, topped by an arch and tiny' bride and groom was cut by the bride. Miss Maxine Wise and Miss Anita Cooke presid ed at the table and Mrs. Paul H. Home, sister-in-law of the bride served. Miss Edna C. Kennedy continued the cutting of the cake. Beautiful flowers 1 were used in room decora tions. Following the reception the couple left for a week's hon eymoon on the Oregon coast. They will be at home after June the twenty-third at 2850 Bisbee street, Klamath Falls, where Mr. Evans is employed in the distributing offices of the Shell Oil company. The bride was graduated from the Ashland schools and the Southern Oregon College of Education and has taught for the past two years at Chil oquin. The bridegroom is a graduate - of the Chiloquin high school and attended the University of Oregon. He was affiliated with Phi Sigma Kap pa fraternity. Out-of-town guests included Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Evans of Chiloquin; Mr. and Mrs. Paul H.
