Aided by a fair demand from commission houses and professional traders, all deliver ies of wheat again sold above a dollar a bushel. Old crop October deliveries ot soybeans established a new sea sonal high at $1,341 a bushel. All deliveries of wheat and corn closed within minor fractions of the day peaks. WOOL MARKET BOSTON, June 20 (AP-USDA) Actual trading was slow in Bos ton today on greasy shorn wool. A few houses were getting In quiries for territory wools, but few sales were closed. Bright fleece wools received very few inquiries, with quotations on combing three eighths and Oil quarter blood grades ranging mostly 46-48 cents, in the grease. Industrial activity, meanwhile, continued at peak levels in ail divisions and there was brisk buying of fall merchandise in wholesale markets, the agency said in the regular weekly re view of business. In the apparel trade reports Indicated a letup In buying in some lines but promotion sales of sports goods and vacation items were described as success ful. Consumer purchases of au tomobiles was intensive, the re view noted, and record pur chases of refrigerators and other electrical appliances continued. Stocks of some items was said to be low. Compared with a year ago, sales volume for the country as a whole was 14 to 17 per cent, the review said the widest gain recorded in the Pacific coast area ranging from 20 to 24 per cent, On the wholesale front orders for fall merchandise were heavv but volume in some instances was dependent upon the ability 01 mercnanu to get the sooda.
