(Serves 6)
Ono envelope plain unflavorcd
gelatin, I cup cold water, cup
hot water, i cup grated Ameri
can cheese, 1 tablespoon lemon
Juice, 1 tablespoon onion Juice,
V, teaspoon suit, 1 tablespoon
pnrsley, finely chopped, 11 cups
cooked mncnronl, cut in small
pieces, or wholo macaroni, I cup
Russian dressing or mayonnaise,
i cup choppod celery.
Soften gelntln In cold water
and dissolve In hot water. Add
cheeso and let stund until cheese
if melted, stirring constantly.
Add lemon Juice, onion Julco,
snlt and parsley. Cool and when
mixture begins to thicken, (old

dressing. Pour Into louf pan
which has been rinsed out In
cold water or rubbed with min
eral oil first, and chill. When
firm, unmold onto platter and
gnrnish with lettuce or chickory.

SWEET POTATO FROSTING

(resh pork (lean), 1 lb. ground
smoked ham, 1 egg, sliKhtly
beaten, i cup milk, i cup bread
or cracker crumbs.
POTATO FROSTING: to 8
boiled sweet potatoes, 2 table
spoons butter, milk, salt nnd
pepper to taste, 0 8 marshmul
lows. Combine the meat loaf In
gredients, blend well and pnek
lightly Into a loaf pan. Bake at
330 degrees F., or a moderate
oven, for 1 ' hours. Remove
from baking pan and place on
serving platter.
Remove skins from boiled
sweet potatoes and mash. Add
butter, seasoning and enough
milk to make mixture light and
fluffy. Spread tills mixture over
