counties' sheep men will receive
close to a million and a half dol
lars for lambs and wool alone,

ricultural agent, reveal the roi
lowing startling figures which
show a substantial Increase over
recent lean years: For Klamatn

Estimate Conservative
These estimates are based on
conservative figures, allowing an
average of seven cents per
pound for lambs, and 16 cents
i per pound for wool, whereas
many growers have received

and Son of Portland, and the
Sacramento wool company.

The "sheep barbera" receive
bout 17 i cents per head for
clipping ewe and twice that tor
bucks, averaging about two ana

fleece. Power-driven clippers are
now standard equipment.
