Thursday noon when five girl
clerks from the tax collector's
office took their lnncb to the top
of the building and enjoyed tbe
warm spring sunshine.
The noon hour was spent on
the roof, and what with the
abundance of good eata and the
hot sunshine absorbed daring
that time, the clerks were badly
in need of a siesta before begin
ning their afternoon duties.
