While In general thero were no additional price changes locally, a further gain of 1 cent was shown In apots In the Wiscon sin sector. - Tillamook has continued its tactics of holding prices steady an was done for some months past despite tb depression In practically all other centers of the country. Tillamook continu ed Its big premium over all oth er markets of the world for like type. Butter Steadier Butter market suggested near steady tone with here and there a showing of weakness as a reflection of the fact that the northwest was quoting above a California basis. Shading of egg prices was con tinued here and on an increas ing scalo. While the local Co ops were quoting 18 cents for extras, some of the supplies war being offered at retail or below this price. For the week's opening there was no change In th general poultry pries list or demand, both chickens and turkeys hold ing around last week's final values. Shipping demand for turkeys continued. Cucumbers Arrive First homo grown hothouse cucumbers of the season were reported arriving. While of small size they showed good qunllty, priced around $1-1.25 dozen. Sales of onions at Oregon sources were slow and lower than when the extreme pries was reached a week or so ago. Lat est trading In carlots was $1.76 and sacks and not very active at that. Cheap cauliflower from Cali fornia was hurting the sale of No. 1 Broccoli from Roseburg and little of tba latter was be ing offered here as a result. Practically all the sales consist of No. 2 grade. Market for country killed meats continued to show a firm ton and In practically all line. Good demand was showing for lambs and especially for quality which was scarce nere. Apple demand continued active and at full prices. Citrus fruits were unchanged. Red bean market was firmer to higher. Hothouse, tomatoes were scarce and (irmly 'priced. Local spinach was still leading the demand with Texan In sec ond plsce. Chicago Livestock CHICAGO, Jan. 22. (PI (U. S. DepL Agr.) Hogs: Receipt 48,000.
