S.. to be given at the Masonic hall on Monday erenlng, December 22, at 7:30. All children of Masons and Eastern Star members, whether members here or elsewhere, are Invited to the party. A children's program will be given and Christ mas tree enjoyed. Santa Clans and his helpers will be there to add to the fnn and distribute goodies to the children. . Successful Card. Party is Held The Eagle Auxiliary card par ty, held at the Eaglea hall Thurs day evening was one of the most successful events sponsored by that organization. Card prizes were won by Mrs, -Clyde Thomp son, bridge; Mrs. Watson, five hundred, and Mrs. W. E. Perkins, pinochle. Door prise went to Mrs. Rose O'Brien and Mrs. Ton eg. Chil dren of the American Revolution, gathered at the home of Mrs. Bert C. Thomas for an enjoyable meeting last Saturday afternoon. The children all appeared In their qnalnt colonial costumes and the prize for the best costume was given to Mary Thomas. There were thirteen children In attend ance. Donations for Angel Island were taken at the meeting. Be fore the meeting waa dismissed dainty refreshments were served. Annual Christmas Tree Planned . The annual Christmas tree for the children and orphans of Odd Fellows and Prosperity Rebekah members will be held this year on Monday erenlng, December 22, In the west hall of the I. O. O. Outstanding among tha church (octal vents during the past week was the program given at the Methodist . church last evening, which honored the first anniver sary of th beautiful new church building. The program was pre- pared ander the direction of R. IE. Patterson, choir leader, and consisted of Instrumental and vo cal music. K. K. Patterson and Aagodt Frigaard presented a vo cal solo. K. K. Patterson and Mrs (Wallace I'erlluf gave a clever mu sical skit, and members of the - Lend-a-lland society of the church I participated In another skit. "The f Romance of Pltf Plff ljind" was cleverly presented by Misses 1 ' Itord, Wldmer and Fenwlck. A large attendance was present. A lovely ChrUtmas party was i held by members of the Episcopal guild and the parish hall Thurs day afternoon, at which a large attendance was present and took part In the fun. An exchange or gifts provided much amusement. At the close of tbe afternoon sev eral of the guild members nerved dsluty refreshments. A Christmas tree decorated the hall. Another Chrlstmaa party will be given by the Kedron club of tbe Presbyterian churah. The af fair Is to be Monday at 7:10 p. m. In the home of Mrs. K. C. Groes beck. After a brief buslue-a meeting a, social hour was enjoyed and re freshments served. At a meeting of the Ladles' cir cle of the Communltv Congrega tional church, Mrs. W. C. Little waa elected president for the com ing year, and Mrs. B. L. Mitcheli was elected secretary-treasurer. Donations Taken For Angel Island Eulalona chapter. Daughters of the American Revolution, hsve sent a Christmas box to Angel Is land each year. Mrs. Fred Srhal lock, chapter chairman of the An gel Island, Is out of town, and In her absence Mrs. Warren Hunt, rice regent, will receive donations and arrange for th shipment of the box. Clean, wearable clothes, wool and cotton yarns, stamped em broidery goods with thread, towels, shoes, hose and remnant goods are among the contributions desired.
