(1, who drowned Novem ber ii while duck hunting In Upper Klamath lake i dis covered aboyt 1:10 Thursday afternoon by Charles Klesltnc who rtsldee la this city at 1023 North Sixth stroot, Tha body vai recovered and brought to tha rlty lent night br Deputy Sheriff Dale Mattoon and Deputy Coroner Charles Larsen. Klesllnc waa flthlnc on the lake with Walter E. Johnsoa and Dule MeCormlck, both of Klamath Kalis, when he located the body about one-fourth of a mile south west of Eagle Ridge In Shoal bay. straight east of Ooak point. Thli Is approximately six miles from the place where Burt and his bunting companion, Edward Sy fert, are believed to have drowned when their boat was punctured by Ice. Burt was clad In the heavy coat, boots and other bunting clothes which he had worn when at seen. In pockets of the coat a bill-told and other papers were found wbtch definitely identified him. A watch In his pocket bad atopped at 4 o'clock. The hunters were last seen at 2 o'clock on No vember 24. In his pockets was 63 cents In change. The body was recovered and brought to tbis city by Charles Larsen of the Whltlock funeral borne, and Dale Mattoon. deputy sheriff, after it had been placed In a casket and lifted Si feet straight up a bank near Eagle Ridge. The sheriff's office was notified of the discovery of the body at 3 o'clock yesterday after noon, and it was 9 o'clock last night before It bad been brought to this city. Wife Survives Syfert's body was discovered on February 22, at the mouth of Thomas creek by Grant Foach. a trapper. Burt Is survived by his wife, Al vina L, Burt, who reside here; three brothers and two slaters. Funeral arrangements will be an nounced later.
