After a lingering illness of almost
a year's duration. Jack McAuliffe
has returned to Klamath Falls from
San Francisco, where ho has been
confined to tho St. Francis hospital.
With Mrs. McAuliffe he arrived in
the city on last night's train from the
south, and is at present stopping
nt the hotel White Pelican.
In Juno of last year, Mr. McAu
liffe was severely burned while mo
toring to Lakcvicw. Ho had stopped
his enr in a blinding rain storm nnd
leaving tho motor running, ho had
climbed into the back ot his car
and fell asleep. When ho was found
he had been overcome by carbon
monoxide nnd seriously burned by
tho heater. (
For a tlmo ho was confined in the
Lakovlew hospital and later Mrs.
McAuliffe moved htm to Sim Fran
cisco, where ho has been until his
return Inst evening.
The return of Mr. and Mrs. Mc
Auliffe is welcomed by their hosts
ot friends throughout Klamath
county.
