This sums up the Benson Poly-technic-Klamath high school foot ball game at the fair grounds yes terday when the Portlandera romp ed away with the game, 39 to 6. The Portland .boys were too ex perienced and too heavy for the local lads, and crashed through the Klamath line repeatedly for sub stantial gains. The Klamath boys were not able to get started during the first two periods, but with tho stnrt of the second half they showed a reversal of form and played the Portlandera on almost even terms. Klamath's lone touchdown came In the third period when an intercept ed 'pass put the ball in Benson's territory. Then the local team with a series of passes and a ''rashlog end run by Hall, put the bait fiver the coveted goal line tor six points. They failed to convert the goal. School otiicials and spectators generally were not disheartened liy the defeat. This Is the first season in which Klamath high has mad any progress in football, and there is every prospect that tbo team will be a real contender next season. The boys were given good sup port by their elders, the grandstand being comfortably filled with Klam ath partisans. THANKSGIVING VISITOHS Mr. 'and Mrs. C. D.
