LITTLE VIRGINIA HOUSTON ENTERTAINED THIS AFTERNOON mates with a Hallowe'en costume party at their home on Conger. For the affair the Boyle, home has been decorated in ghosts, goblins, witches black cats and Jack o' lanterns Games which the little ones will play- have been planned for. The hours are from five until eight o'clock. MISS FLORENCE MURPHY HONORED WITH BRIDGE COMPLIMENTING her cousin Miss Florence Murphy, Mrs. C H. Foster of 635 Alameda, proved herself a most gracious hostess on Friday evening when she enter tamed with bridge. Houston. Jack o' lanterns, black cats, ghosts, big and little, and ev erything pertaining to this historic date were used In decorating the rooms for the occasion. Games were played by the little ones who weie all in costume. Mrs. Houston served light refreshments at the hour of four. TONIGHT MARKS INITIAL OPENING OF HE.VDKA'OUfl TONIGHT marks the initial open ing of the fall and winter par ties which will be given in the Scandinavian Hull. The hall has been completely remodeled, a new maple dance floor has been laid, attractive drapes have been hung at the windows. Maid service for those attonding will be another ad ded feature of the new rendezvous.
