Brown Case Goes up to Grand Jury Eari Brown, former Klamath Falls boxing promoter, lost his first skirmish in iiis fight to prove his innocence of the charge of issuing a check without funds in the bank, when he1 was bbund over to the grand jury this morning by Justice of the Peace Ed Kendall. Brown's preliminary hearing( was held Sar r.rday. Bond was set at $7."0, which Brown was attempting to raise this morning. Complaining witness in the case is Miss Bee Begin. THOMAS RETURN'S When A. M. Thomas, secretary of the Klamath Irrigation district returned last week-end from Port land where he has been an Inter ested spectator at the Klamath rail road hearing, be did not return alone.
