Dear Sir: You have heen quoted at least once. nnd. 1 think twice, iu the public press recently as having made the following statement: "The Northern lines have said they didn't want to go 1 any further aron Klamath Falls." I am writing to ask, first, if this quoted statement is cnrreit. or if you have been misquoted: second, if It correct, that you publish when and where and by what Northern Lines official this statement was made: third, that if you have been misquot ed, you give that fact the same pub licity the misquotation received. Principal Jackson Urges Support of Local High School Closer COttUtet with the high school students was urged by Paul T. Jack son, principal, who spoke before the chamber of commerce members' for um, today noon. With Principal Jack, son were all members of the high school faculty. 10 In nil. Mr. Jackson said that ony way in which the contact could be obtained was through support of the athletic activities of the school. He said there would be four football games here (his fall and an equal number of basketball game, during the winter and he urged a large attendance at these contests. 'We want you also to visit the school ami see what we are doing." he said. FOKMKHXY LIVED HERE John (Shine) Edwards, former local resident, held by the Sacra mento, California police in connec tion with a sensational holdup of a movie theatre a week ago, was re leased from custody Saturday, after being held for investigation. It de veloped that the auto owned by Edwards and used by the bandits was stolen from its parking place. Mr. and Mrs. James (Shine) Ed ward?, also detained for questioning were released. The "Shine" boys are well known in this city nnd county, where they lived for years, and until six months ago were res idents of Klamath Falls. Med ford Tribune. WANTS $2,000 James Ingles has filed action in circuit court against Dr. O. A. Olson, local dentist, seeking $2,000 in general damages and $G7 in local damages, charging that a bad job; was done on the pulling of nine teeth. He avers that the dentist care lessly and negligently handled the extraction of the teeth by not pro perly preparing the teeth for re moval, by not properly applying his instruments and forceps and by not carefully and properly pulling them. He asserts the dentist so handled the job fn attempting to pull the teeth and he broke and crushed the crown and severed the crown of ! each from the roots and lower por tions and allowed the roots to re main in their place, though he stated and rupresented to the plain tiff that all of his teeth had been enirely and completely removed.
