Pearson field here today like hom
ing pigeons, arriving to take part
in the performance tomorrow which
will murk the dedication of the
field.
Fifty planes headed by the world
fliers, anil including the foremost
aviators of the Vnlted States will
be in flight in the rnces and other
features which, have been arranged
for the dedication. Seventeen events
are on the program, including races
of various kinds, stunt flying, an
aerial combat demonstration, para
chute jump, wing walking, bomb
dropping, radio broadcasting from
airplane and airplane control from
the ground.
Thursday the aviators will fly
to Pendleton, to take part in the
round-up.

captiured. He was arrest
ed yesterday afternoon in
Prineville by Sheriff Yanc
ey, according to a long dis
tance telephone caH receiv
ed here this morning by
Sheriff Burt Hawkins.
It was just a piece of luck
that the jail escape was ap-
predended. Sheriff Yancey
caught Barclay in company
with a man who was sus
pected of having committed
larceny. He found that Bar
clay had in his possession a
saddle which had been stol
en from a store in Alturas
two weeks ago.

with Barclay could not be
learned. He has a long
term to serve out in this;
