Mrs. W. Doney has returned to her home after several weeks spent In Klamath Falls. Mrs. Doney re cently underwent an operation and Is still under the physician's care. Walter J. Kerrigan was a Klam ath Falls visitor Tuesday. Mrs. A. C. Gictiger and daughter. Grace, spent Tuesday in Klamath Falls visiting friends and shonning. The local P. T. A. hold their first meeting of the season Tuesday af ternoon, twenty being present. Af ter the regular business was trans acted, the following officers were elected for the coining year: Mrs. Huth Hedrick. president; Mrs. D. Cramblftt, vice-president; Mrs. Daisy B. Laurltsen, secretary and treas urer. A delightful social hour was then spent and delicious refresh ment were served by .Mesdames Mc Cain and West. The next meeting will be held Tuesday, October 18. The Parent-Teachers will give a dance Saturday evening September 26. at tlie new Brown 'building on Main street. The immediate need of our school is b piano, and Mr. Brown has generously offered the use of his new building to the P. T. A. for that purpose and the Sav age orchestra has kindly donated their services. The funds raised will be used in purchasing a piano for the school. There will be old fash ioned dancing, quadrilles, etc., with an old-time "caller off on the floor and also modern dances. Everyone Is invited to attend, and give the P. T. A. their support and the children their much needed piano. The citizens of Chiloquin are quite proud and greatly pleased over the first copies of the Chiloquin Uelvew, which was off the press Monday. Mr. Priaulx is to he congratulated upon the success of his first edi tion. Mr. and Mrs. Arch Wimer were Chiloquin visitors Tuesday. 1). ti. Brown has leased his new brick building to Mr. J. H.
