ACCIDENTS INCREASE Last week was a record breaker for accidents In industrial plants in tho state, said Dillard A. Elkins. chairman of the state industrial a'cotdotit commission, who was here from Salem. Ho said that more than S00 accidents were reported and of these several were fatal. "The average during the sum mer has been about 100 n day,' said Mr. Elkins, 'but for some rea son or another there was a big in crease last week." Lloyd, former convict in' the Oregon state prison who is alleged to have shot and killed C. I.
