o4t the PINE TREE
An unusual and clever vaudeville
bill was presented last night at the
Pine Tree and will be repelled to
night. Tlje several musical numbers
were entertaining and the comedy
and dancing acts were above the
average. Prince Leo, the pony with
the human brain, is marvelously In
telligent and his stunts are mystlfy-
i ing. to say the least. Taken all to
gether, it if a very enjoyable pro
gram. Curlnne Griffith added another
leaf to the wreathe of laurel with
which she should be crowned for the
standard of excellence of her pic
tures. "Declasse," the picture which
was presented last night at the Pine
Tree, captivated a critical audience.
The photography was beautiful la
every respect. Many well known
faces were seen in the cast sup
porting Miss Griffith. Among lb m
were Lloyd Hughes, Hedda Hoppi r,
Kockliffe Fellowcs, Louise Fazeuda,
Ciive Erook, Lilyan Tavhman and
others.
After a continuous run of more
than seventy weeks in New York,
an engagement of a year in Lon
don, and a brilliant road tour of the
United States, "Sally," the Ziegfeld
musical comedy hit, Is now on the
screen, with Colleen Moore as the
star.
"Sally" holds the record for being
perhaps the most successful musical i
comedy ever presented in America,
having netted, it is declured, more
than $-1,000,000 in gross receipts.
The picture will be shown at
the Pine Tree Theatre Sunday.
