GOBLE TOO MAIN Eyes (Rasses Examined Fitted Repairs Quick Service oAt the TINE TREE Are the habits of the fattier in herited by the son? This is one of tho problems treat ed in the latest First National pic ture, "The Necessary Evil." which comes to the Pine Tree theater to night. "The Necessary Evil" is the story of a stepfather and : tepson contest ing Tor the hand of the. same girl. The inherited tendencies of the young man's father play an important part in the picture, nnd under the hand of George Archainaud, director, tho influence of the dead father is brought out in an unusual manner. The picture is filled with color, life. tragedy, pathos, laughter and beau tiful settings. "The Lover of Camille" had an ing next Sunday to the Pine Tree theater, Monte Blue has the starring role, playing the part which Lionel Atwlll assumed on the boards. "The Lover of- Comille" had an unusually long run on Broadway, distinguished among oilier long run plays by the brilliant all etar cast. In It people find the romance they never found tho achievements tmey somehow missed, the adventure tmey dreamed of but never knew. All these are contained in the story of Dehurnu, the master pantomlmftst and lover ol' Camille. Marie Provost is tho Camille, and the supporting cast boasts Bitch per sonalities as Willard X,ouIs, Pierre Qendron, Hose Dione. Winifred IJryson. Harry Beaumont, the-noted director of "Beau Brunimcl," "Main Street," and "Babbitt." did the di rection. oAt The LIBERTY It takes many tilings to make a succestul film. Some rely on drama, some on comedy some on thrills. The latter has always, and still is, the most difficult of nil films to pro duce. To make an ordinary thriller is splendid but to make a double barrel thriller is Immenso! But "Double Barreled Justice," -which is to be presented tonight nt the Liberty theater, is just that! Double Barrel thrilling' Of course everybody knows that Tom Mix can ride. That's why his wonderful ride on "Block Bess" in tho picture "Dick Turpln" didn't make him rnmous. It Is tho high spot of the picture, but Mix's riding is al ways tho high spot of any picture. "Dick Turpln" opens Sunday at the Liberty theater. Tho unique thing about .."Dick Turpln" Is tho costuming and the really remarkable sets. It la tho story of that rnmous "Robin Hood of the highway" Dick Turpln ot England, who robbed the rich to give to tho poor. It Is excellent screen material, colorful and dramatic. Tho photography has been beauti fully done. The picture Bhows flash aflor flash of sun-specklod high road shaded by flno old troes nnd pictur esquely dotted with rambling Inns and quaint villages. ill 1 Q i'TIic Coolest T'l.-ici Will Tonight Only Viola Dana and Ben Lyon in "The Necessary Evil" A daring drama of a youth who followed in his father's footsteps but turned back to a better path. SUNDAY & MONDAY "The Lover of Camille" A Fascinating Story told amidst col orful surroundings, and about interest ing people. By a wonderful cast headed by MONTE BLUE and MARIE PREVOST But gripping and thrilling because its "The Romance We Never Found The achievements we Somehow Mused The Adventure we Dreamed of But Never Knew." You' Love "The Lover of Camille" It's the most powerful love story ever told in pictures. It's reminiscent of things that have happened to you or you're hoping will happen to you. Continuous Show Sunday Starting at 1 :30 p. m. iJM LIBERTY "Double Barreled Justice" It's the kind of a film that send shivers up' your spine Tears to your Eyes Smiles to your lips. !
