The Blue Ribbon Canning Club
met on Friday for the purpose of
electing some new officers. Pauline
Burnett and Mary Sevick were elect
ed for the demonstrating team. The
first prize - was awarded to Mary
Sevick for the first to finisfi canning
20 quarts of fruit. Catherine Bur
nett won first on vegetables. Their
next meeting will be held at the
home of Mrs. J. C. Sevick on Aug
ust the 8th.

surgical operation. Mr. Robinson is
on tlys road to recovery now.

Mrs. Walter Zetzsman. who was tak
en to Klamath Valley hospital on
Mominy. whore alia underwent n
surgical operation for appendicitis.

recovery.

the homo of Mrs. M. F. Ferguson
last Friday. Their time was profit
ably spent In preparing rags for
