Seigel taught here last year and will have the same grades this year. . The new linotype for the Malin Progress has arrived and is being installed In the Flacus building, as temporary quarters. A new build ing is to be erected immediately on the corner lot, north of the Kallna storo on Broadway and Lakeview streets. The dimensions ot the building arc to be 24x40, offices of the Progress on one side and living quarters on the other. Keen' Inter est Is being shown by the residents ot Malin and the farmers in the community in the prospects of the paper. The recent showers delayed the work in the hay fields somewhat, although much hay was in the stack before the rain came. A. E. Street and family and Irs. Street's mother, Mrs. Seigel have returned to Ten Mile, Oregon after two weeks stay in Malln. Mrs. Street and son... expects to remain with her mother until school opens in September. Mr. Street will be in Malin at intervals during the re mainder of the summer. Mr. J. R. Pickett made a short visit to Malin from Sprague River where Mr. and Mrs. Pickett operate a botel and- pool room. Mr. and Mrs. George Myers spent Friday In Klamath Falls attending to matters ot business. Mr. Myers has a large ranch on the highway southeast of Malin. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton have return ed from Medford where they , have been spending some weeks, while Mr. Clinton was employed at that place.
