Let us prove to you that "Better Bread" is
better. What we say about Better Bread may
be biased to a certain extent but what our
many customers have to say about it is an en
tirely different matter.
Realy it is surprising how our sales of our
wheat meal or old fashioned graham bread
has grown. Our wheat meal is especially
ground for us and is the genuine whole wheat

brisk fire In the range in the kitchen
ot her home, set the hot water tap
to running and thrust 24 two months
old Rhode Island Red chickens into
various warm nooks and crannies in
an almost vain hope of restoring
them to life.
The chickens were caught In thoir

a cold rain storm that recorded .86
of an inch in less than two hours
at the forest service station. They
crept under hopvines instead of get
ting under more substantial cover
and when the Berry's returned
home, they found 24 of the birds
seemingly dead. The hot water and
the hot oven, however, brought 17
back to the state where they show
no ill effects today ot yesterday's
