Will Start Great Crowds Expected Everything In Readiness For Western Show At Fair Grounds-Complete List of Riding, Roping and Racing Events Provided -Stores to Close All the excitement and thrills of the western round-up will be provided by riders, ropers and bull-doggers at the annual three-day Rodeo which stalls at the , fair grounds at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. , Everything is in readiness for the big show. The performers, including some of the best riders and ropers of the west, 'are ready for the pistol shot which will start them off on the races or bucking contests. -Some Real Buckers ' ' The BIy Rodeo association, which is staging the big show, admittedly has some of the greatest bucking bronc3 in the country. The Pendleton Round-up has made frequent efforts to purchase their bucking horses and equipment, which -indicates that no better horses could be found. . : , . , Judges and other officials have been selected and every event will be pulled off on schedule time, : and will be over before 5 o'clock each afternoon, according to the officials of the association. , - A complete Rodeo program has been arranged. - Of chief interest will be the bucking contests, in which half the cowboys will compete the first day, the other half tha second day and the winners ride it put f or? the prize money on the final day. - ' ;. I,--;.. ' 'There vill also be a bulf-dogging c'pnte.st and a cow boy milking contest, both of which have a large number of entries. ., " The Racing Program ? The racing program also will provide plenty of thrills. These will include a half-mile free for all race; a quarter-mile Indian race; a half-mile chariot race; a five eights mile free for all race ; a 2-mile ladies relay race and a wild horse race. All of these will be three-day events' with competition keen from start to finish. The ladies' relay race will find Lorena Trickey and Bonnie Dare each riding a string of relay ponies. Both these cowgirls have won; high honors throughout the country, and their appearance at the Rodeo here this year will add much to the value of the exhibition. Miller, publicity director for the Rodeo, the influx of .visitors started last night, and many more are expected to arrive today and tomorrow for the big show. The Rodeo is drawing persons from other states as well as from many points in Oregon and Northern California, and from all indications the public support this year will be much better than ever before. Klamath Falls merchants are backing' the Rodeo to the lihiit. Practically every place of business ,wilL.-be closed from 1 to 5 o'clock each afternoon, thus permit ting their employes to attend the big show; This also will serve to call the attention of the public generally to the Rodeo and should result in a big attendance each afternoon. - i; Crash Fatal To Tillamook Man Dr. W.
