New System Of
Parking Favored
Modification ot Klamath Falls
parking regulations is favored as
far as Main Btreet and portions ot
Sixth Btreet aro' concerned, became
known last night at a special meet
ing ot the city council, when mem
bers of that body wore addressed
by V. E. Young ot the Llnnton
Transit company.
Parallel parking was opposed -by
tho councllinen, but thoy wont on
record ns favoring a modification
ot tho present system.
The modification tentatively ap
proved would consist lit having nil
cars park at a more, acute angle,
thus leaving moio room in the cen
ter of the st root for traffic.
Nothing definite, was done, as this
was not a regular session ,of tho
council.

COST OF F.XECCTIX(J
TWO ESKIMOS WAS $20,000
AUTHORITIES SAY
EDMONTON, Alta., (Authori
ties here have placed J 20,000 as the
cost of the trial and execution ot
two Copper Eskimos, Allkomlak and

year ago. Knud Rasmussen, arctic
explorer, differs from this estimate
and puts the cost between 150,000
and $75,000. '
. Commenting on the Copper Eski

ion that before law enforcement is
undertaken efforts should be mado
to educate them to an: understand

pointed out that tho Copper Eski

tomale children - is customary, and
the slaying ot a husband to obtain
his wife Is not regarded as a ser
ious wrong.
