Unlet, Jeff Riddle, Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Stewart, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Turn baugh, J. A. Turnbaugh and Mr. and. Mrs. W. Turnbaugh and Miss M. Carleton spent the day at different places of interest. The first stop was made at the natural bridge. Other places visited were Canby'n Cross. At this place Capt. Applsgate and Jeff Riddle were at the Cross to gether, the first time both had been Community Dance . Miss Betty' McEIroy of Arbuckle, California is visiting at tho home of her aunt, Mrs. J. W. Scoggins. The regular school election was held in Merrill Monday afternoon. It was a very quite one. R. H. And erson was re-elected clerk and W. F. Jinnette director.. A crowd of Merrill young people Joined the Klamath county delega tion ot the court house Sunday morning to attend the summer ses sion of the Industrial club work at Corvallls. After a picture was taken of the crowd in front of the court house a caravan of sixteen cars started with the children for Ash land, where a special train of three coaches and baggage car waB wait Ing. They left at ten and It was expected to arrive in Corvallls at 8 p. m. Sir. Campbell of Portland traffic agent was out to go back with the boys. Mr. and Mrs. R. H. And erson and G. H. Carleton drove ovor from Merrill with some of the child, ren. Among those going from Mer rill were: Billy Bailey, Arleno Tay lor, Marion Graybael, Alfred Carle. ton, Glendon Colwell, Thlrza and Helen Anderson, Zerllne Stevenson, Eugene Merrill, Lester Moore, and Kathrine Pope and Fay Jinnette who were already in Corvallls.
