Production Is one car a day. Two or three piece apple box ends are equalized ' by the Deer Park Lumber Co., Deer Park, Wash, with result' that there are no objections to pieced ends. Box lumber from surfucer Is discharged' directly onto a conveyor, which feeds to automa tic tumbler cut-off saws. Cuta drop en bolt conveyor, where they are graded and placed on dead roll con veyor for transfer to Yates horiz ontal band resaw, Cranston wire ty ing machine, clrcular"rip saws, nail ers, or equalizer. Kingston Box Co., Everett, Wash, Is operating two cutoffs cutting from 25,000 to 30,000 feet per day of spruce and hemlock shook. The factory Is supplying aa order tor 20 cars of spruce butter squares for Wisconsin. There Is an increasing Inquiry for butter boxes for New Zealand as well as for cheese cases, but the New Zealand cheese ass, by reason of Its design. Is expens -e to produce.
