been one of the most active prohibition agents under
Divisional Enforcement Director R. Q. Merrick, was one
of the twelve men arrested in Harrison, N. J., early today
by Hudson county detectives,V who at the same time
eeized two motor trucks and 26,00 cases of beer.
The prisoners all were charged with the illegal trans
portation and possession of intoxicants in violation of the
Hobart act, the New Jersey State enforcement statute.
